Deena F. Al-Khayyal

Deena Al-Khayyal is the Managing Director of LyondellBasell Arabian Limited, and a Member in the Board of Directors of the National Petrochemical Industrial Company. She brings in over fourteen years of experience in the Energy sector in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East. She held key positions in the Ministry of Energy of Saudi Arabia for three years, serving as Advisor to Assistant Minister for Excellence & Development Affairs. Prior to this, Director for Localization & Business Development under the Localization Deputyship in the Ministry; working on strategic projects such as leading the Localization Strategy under the National Integrated Energy Strategy. Prior to joining the Ministry, Deena had an enriching experience in Schlumberger Middle East; in different roles including Business Development, Sales & Marketing, Account Management, Human Capital Development and Strategies.

Deena holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Phoenix University, and has a unique set of certifications in leadership, public policy, crisis management & communication from global educational institutes such as Harvard School, INSEAD and IMD. Deena served as a member of the Foreign Investment Committee in the Asharqia Chamber, and she received the Century Club Member award by the Sociality of Petroleum Engineers.
