The Leaders of Tomorrow (LoT) program is a flagship GPCA initiative launched in 2016 with the support of our members to nurture and develop local human capital in the region. As part of GPCA’s advocacy pillar, the program underscores the significance of STEM education and plays a vital role in bridging the gap between academia and industry. LoT serves as the first structured, collective effort that enables industry stakeholders to collaborate in shaping the next generation of leaders and equipping them with the necessary skills and expertise.

The program follows a year-round framework in which GPCA member companies sponsor students from across the GCC to participate in GPCA’s annual conferences, providing them with invaluable industry exposure and professional development opportunities.

Now in its 20th edition, the Leaders of Tomorrow program will take place on 20-21 April 2025, alongside the 14th GPCA Plastics Conference at the JW Marriott Hotel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

‟I was very proud to have seen the active engagement of the youth in this conference and their learning of the industrial part of their education, which is extremely important because our future depends on the younger people who will take over the running of our businesses in the future.”

H.E. Dr. Mohammed bin Hamad Al Rumhi,
Minister of Oil and Gas, Oman
