Beginning his career as an Export Accountant in 1999, Tareq advanced through various roles, including Senior Chartering Executive, Senior Sales Analyst, and Olefins Marketing Team Leader. His responsibilities have spanned vessel chartering, freight negotiations, multi-product shipments, inventory management, and market analysis. He has consistently demonstrated expertise in enterprise resource planning, annual business planning, and customer satisfaction, driving PIC’s global competitiveness.
Tareq holds a Bachelor’s degree from Kuwait University’s College of Commercial and Administrative Sciences and is certified in Six Sigma Green and Black Belts, reflecting his commitment to operational excellence and process optimization. Tareq actively participates in industry committees on risk management, pricing strategies, and marketing policies.
