Khalfan Mohamed Al Muhairi is the Senior Vice President for MEAE Region at Borouge since July 2020 and based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Khalfan has more than 17 years of experience in developing and implementing global strategies in application marketing as well as driving performance and sales excellence whilst leading regional sales teams.
Prior to this position, Khalfan was the Vice President of Middle East Sales since 2014, and leading the sales activities in GCC, Egypt, Pakistan and East Levant. Previously, Khalfan was the Vice President Marketing Centre for Pipe at Borouge since 2012. He led Borouge’s pipe marketing, technical services and product development teams effectively in the Middle East and Africa, North East Asia and South Asia regions. From 2008 to 2012, Khalfan took up the position of Application Marketing Manager of the Pipe Business Unit – Middle East and Africa.
Khalfan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Portland, USA, since 2004. In 2006, he obtained dual Masters degrees in Electrical Engineering, and in Engineering and Technology Management from Portland State University, USA.
