Javier Ferreiro Rodriguez, with a higher education in Chemistry and a Master’s in Marketing and Sales Management, has built an impressive career at BASF since joining in 1996. He began as a technician in the masterbatch business, later advancing through various sales roles before becoming Country Manager of BASF Color Solutions Iberia. In this role, he managed the business end-to-end, from production to sales, while being fully accountable for the P&L.
In 2011, Javier transitioned to the Performance Materials Division as Business Manager Iberia for EPS and XPS foams, supporting the construction industry with insulation panels produced in Spain. He actively contributed to key industry organizations, including Andimat and Anape, and served as President of Aipex, the XPS Association, in 2015.
In 2016, he joined the Plastic Additives business as a Key Account Manager. By 2017, he relocated to Dubai, assuming the role of Head of Emerging Markets and Regional Polymer Producer Accounts for EMEA. Javier’s extensive experience and leadership have positioned him as a key figure in the polymer and materials industry.
