Fahad Al Battar is the current CEO of SABIC Agri-Nutrients Company (Public Listed Company in KSA Capital Market). Previously, he held several senior positions in SABIC, including Chief Operations Officer for SABIC Agri-Nutrients Company, President of Saudi Arabian Fertilizer (SAFCO) Company, President of Eastern Petrochemical Company (SHARQ), President of Saudi Petrochemical Company (SADAF), and President of Jubail Fertilizer Company (ALBAYRONI).
Currently, Fahad holds the Chairmanship position from the National Industrial Gases Company (GAS) Board of Directors, Chairmanship from the ETG Inputs Holdco Limited (EIHL) Board of Directors, and Board Membership positions from the Gulf Petrochemical Company (GPIC) and Arab Fertilizers Association (AFA). Beforehand, he was Board of Director of Maaden Phosphate Company, and Board Secretary for Arrazi Company. In his professional career, he was part of high-profile leadership assignments such as Leading Due diligence for SABIC USA Growth project, Leading TAKAMOL project to integrate fertilizer plant under SABIC Agri-Nutrients Company, Lead team reviewing SABIC asset integrity in Europe and USA and Leading several expansions as steering committee chairman for various Mega project (green field and brown field)
Fahad holds an Executive Master’s Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), KSA.
