Burcu Olcay Üstüner is the Chief Executive Officer of BAYEGAN DMCC, the international division of BAYEGAN’s global petrochemicals distribution network, which spans 120 countries. Since joining BAYEGAN in 2008 as a Senior Associate, Burcu has demonstrated exceptional strategic leadership and dedication, quickly rising to the position of Business Development Director in 2012. In this role, she forged enduring partnerships with leading global petrochemical suppliers, driving marketing and sales initiatives that contributed significantly to BAYEGAN’s rapid international growth.
Appointed CEO in 2023, Burcu now leads BAYEGAN DMCC’s global strategy, overseeing purchasing, sales, and the expansion of its international footprint. With a strong foundation in global trade and business development, she has consistently demonstrated expertise in navigating complex markets and fostering sustainable growth in the petrochemicals industry.
Burcu holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Koç University, a Master’s degree in International Management from the University of Exeter and has completed the Senior Executive Leadership Program at Harvard Business School. A former basketball player, she incorporates qualities such as discipline, teamwork, and determination into her leadership philosophy, further enhancing her effectiveness as a global business leader.
