Bjarke Degn Nissen began his career as an officer in the Danish Army before transitioning to the maritime industry, joining Stolt Tankers in 1993 after his tenure at AP Moller Maersk.
Over the years, Bjarke has held several key roles, including Business Director in 2009 and Managing Director in 2019, where he played a pivotal role in shaping and executing Stolt Tankers’ commercial strategy. His focus has been on creating value for customers by delivering seamless and reliable services across global operations. In 2024, he assumed his current position as CCO.
Bjarke has held diverse commercial postings across the UK, the Netherlands, and the U.S., gaining extensive international experience in the process. A proud Harvard alumni and Danish citizen, Bjarke brings his expertise and global perspective to drive excellence in supply chain and logistics initiatives.
