The Gulf Process Safety Network (GPSN) was launched by GPCA at its 4th Responsible Care Conference held from 31 October – 2 November 2021 at Crowne Plaza RDC Hotel, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. GPSN is the first of its kind professional group in the region representing the chemical and petrochemical industry in the six GCC states. The network serves as a regional platform of process safety experts that enables and supports knowledge exchange, investigates major process safety incidents, and promotes collaboration among GPCA member companies.

To support the GPCA Responsible Care Committee by addressing regional process safety challenges whilst improving the overall process safety culture by providing recommendations and driving initiatives, based on the three strategic pillars of Effective Networking, Thought Leadership and Advocacy
