Ivan Schmelczer

Ivan Schmelczer is an instructor, adviser and consultant in all modes of dangerous goods transport.

He has been dealing with dangerous goods transportation training since 2003. He was graduated as Medical Doctor, Molecular Biologist, and Professional Translator. He is a dangerous goods safety advisor (DGSA) for ADR, RID and ADN.

He obtained Certified Training Professional and Air Cargo Professional designations from the International Air Transport Association (IATA). He is certified trainer of ICAO. He is an instructor of IMDG and the Head of Delegation of the International Road Transport Union (IRU) at the UN Meetings for dangerous goods transport.

He obtained Certified Dangerous Goods Professional (CDGP) credential from the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management (IHMM) in 2017 and 2022. He is the CDGP Director of IHMM in the USA. He has been the chairman of the Hungarian Association of Dangerous Goods Professionals since 2021.
