Dr. Mohammed Al-Hazmi has a Bachelor Degree in Chemistry, MSc in Physical Chemistry from KSU, Saudi Arabia and obtained his PhD degree in Heterogeneous Catalysis from OSU, United States.

Dr. Mohammed has more than 27 years of experience in research and technologies related activities focused on developing, designing, synthesis and characterizations of many heterogeneous and homogenous catalytic systems applied in petrochemical processes such as selective oxidation, oxidative dehydrogenation, selective hydrogenation, light olefins oligomerization, etc.

Dr. Mohammed was involved in the development of several technologies from the lab scale to a full commercial scale. He has been awarded several leadership positions during his career started from leading the performance of chemicals technology, assigned as a Director of the Glycols, Oxygenates and Functional Chemicals technology, Director Chemical Science within the corporate research, and currently Director of Operational Excellence within SABIC Technology & innovation.

He received several national and international awards, and he is an active member of several international scientific societies. Dr. Mohammed has about 30 well-received publications in Peer-Reviewed Scientific Journals, more than 35 granted and published patents, and several Conference and Symposium talks.
