Posted as the Joint Managing Director, Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Ltd (IFFCO), which is the largest Fertilizer Cooperative in the world with a turnover of USD 5.5 Billion (2021-22). Apart from heading the Finance Division of IFFCO, extensively involved with all the new Projects, Acquisitions, Joint Ventures and Diversification initiatives of IFFCO from their stage of inception.

Associated with the Fertilizer sector for the past 25 years. Elected as the Chairman, International Fertilizer Association (IFA), Paris during 2017-19; and the Chairman, Fertilizer Association of India (FAI) during 2015-17. Currently, also the Deputy Chairman, Oman India Fertilizer Company, S.A.O.C. (OMIFCO) Oman; Chairman, IFFCO MC Crop Science Pvt Ltd., and the Managing Director, IFFCO Kisan SEZ Ltd. Member on the Board of Directors of 9 Indian and 2 Overseas Companies apart from being on the Boards of the IFA and FAI.

An ex-Indian Revenue Service (IRS) Officer. Held various senior assignments in Government of India, which included Joint Secretary (Commercial), Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI); Director in the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers; Additional Assessor & Collector, Municipal Corporation of Delhi apart from the postings in the Income Tax Department.

Holding B.Tech. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT, New Delhi and Post Graduate Diploma in International Marketing.
