The Gulf Petrochemicals and Chemicals Association (GPCA) successfully hosted the 4th Product Stewardship Workshop from 10–11 September 2025 at the Pullman Downtown, Dubai, under the theme “Innovative Product Stewardship Journey Through Sustainable Future with Artificial Intelligence and Regulatory Landscape.”
The two-day workshop brought together senior leaders, product stewardship professionals, regulatory experts, and sustainability practitioners from across the chemical and petrochemical sector to exchange insights and share best practices on integrating innovation and digital technologies into product stewardship development.
The workshop showcased 13 speakers from across seven organizations and key sessions highlighting the evolving regulatory environment landscape, greenwashing, the role of artificial intelligence in enhancing compliance and sustainability, and the industry’s efforts to advance responsible product management across the value chain providing in-depth perspectives on emerging global trends, practical challenges, and future opportunities.
In addition to knowledge sharing, the workshop served as a platform for collaboration, enabling participants to engage in meaningful discussions, explore innovative approaches, and strengthen industry alignment on advancing product stewardship in the region.
The event concluded with a call for continued active participation and collaboration among GPCA member companies to drive responsible practices, enhance transparency, and support the industry’s transition toward a safer, more sustainable, and innovation-driven future.
