The Gulf Petrochemicals and Chemicals Association (GPCA) in collaboration with the American Chemistry Council (ACC) are bringing the first-of-its-kind workshop focused on the RC14001® standard to the Arabian Gulf region.
The workshop is set to take place from 5-6 March at the Pullman Downtown, Dubai, UAE.
For the first time, the leading associations have joined forces to organize a joint workshop dedicated to the technical standard which combines ISO 14001 with the Responsible Care Management System (RCMS)® requirements.
Open to GPCA members and other RC14001 organizations and auditors, the event entitled ‘RC14001® Workshop: Global Insights & Exemplary Practices’ will provide a platform to share valuable experiences and lessons learned from the implementation of the RC14001® management system.
Adopted by chemical firms globally, the RC14001® is aimed at helping companies achieve higher standards of performance and create greater value for their business.
The first-of-its-kind in the region, this inaugural workshop will feature informative sessions, focusing on exemplary practices identified during companies’ third-party audits, as well as non-conformance observations and trends among GPCA’s RC14001® users and companies in other regions.
It will also showcase company experiences in taking RC14001® to their global operations, and discuss opportunities for growing RC14001® and its supporting infrastructure in the Arabian Gulf and further afield.
Participants at the workshop will have the opportunity to share their own experiences with like-minded individuals during small group discussions.
